Frequently Ask​ed Questions

How much do consignors make?

Consignors earn 60% of their sales!  Want to earn more?  Become a Team Member.  In your tagging account select "Help at the Sale".

What are the fees?

There is consignor fee that starts at $16.50. Sign up EARLY to take advantage of Early Bird pricing.  Sellers who choose to donate all of your unsold items (all tags must be marked for donation) get a 30 minute jump start on their shopping time.

When do I drop off my items?

Drop off is the Wednesday the week of the event.  Make sure to schedule your drop off time HERE.  Information on the full sales schedule (for sellers) can be found HERE.

Why do clothes need to be on hangers?

Clothing sells best when displayed. There are no restrictions on hanger type (metal or plastic).  We just ask you use size appropriate (ie: NB-5T use child size hangers, 5T-14 use adult size hangers).  When in doubt, if you think it is going to fall off the hanger, use the bigger size.  If you are having a hard time finding supplies, you can purchase them from us HERE.

I've never consigned before! Where do I start?

Join our Facebook Consignor group HERE for unlimited access to ask questions, connect with other consignors, and all the resources you need to be successful! I don't have time to tag. Is there someone that can help me?

Yes! Our VERY popular Valet Tagging program is what you want.  You drop off your items to a Pro Tagger.  They will price your items and drop them off at the sale for you. You earn 35%.  The best part? You still get to shop early!  There are limited spots available and items must be dropped off at least one month before the sale. Any additional advice?

Yes! With any new experience, there is always a learning curve. Give yourself time to learn, tweak, and improve with each sale. Price to sell (without emotion.. Bring your best! Remember, presentation is everything (make sure your items are hung on appropriately, everything smells fresh and in great condition You are selling to parents just like you! Give out good and you will get it back! Help at the sale to have fun, feel involved, and make the most money. JBF is a community sale designed with you in mind - we want you to win!
